Patbusch Mountain Reserve Wedding

One of my new year resolutions for this year was to share this wedding with you. This might have been one of my all-time favorite weddings, mostly because of the people with whom I got to share this relaxed wedding weekend in South Africa. If you have been to weddings at Pat Busch Mountain Reserve in Robertson, you might never have noticed the little forest in the back of the field. That was only one of the reasons why Sara and Robin got married there. Flower crowns were put together during heavy downpour. Friends and family from all over the world came to help empty the bottles of beers. Our shoes wet with dew and later thrashed with mud. Some didn’t bother wearing any footwear at all. We celebrated life and love under a sky full of stars. Our clothes carried the smell of wood fire after making numerous marsh mellows. Sara’s dog kept an eye out the whole weekend, making sure to keep his distance most of the time. Luckily we caught him off-guard a few times, even during the ceremony. Scroll down to view the whole story, and be inspired.
