Keri & Jean | Relaxed Farm Wedding in Overberg, South Africa
The last weekend of April this year, Keri and Jean set up camp at the Meulvlei Farm close to Arniston, South Africa. They brought their closest friends and family together to celebrate life and love and party under a full moon sky. The vows were exchanged in the shade of an indigenous Milkwood forest, adding magic to the relaxed vibe of their farm wedding. Keri’s gown was made by Alana van Heerden. She wore it like a queen. Jean dressed in black, my favorite. Antoinette took care of the flowers, the decor, the lighting, and the delicious food, proving to be one of the best wedding planners in the Overberg region. Make-up and hair were a combination of Mari’s talent and Keri’s natural beauty and curls. Brother Thomas help me out as a second shooter. Feel the love and be inspired when you scroll through a beautiful day in the lives of Keri and Jean.
Jan & Lisa | Bohemian Chic Wedding at Rittergut-Orr in Cologne, Germany
Jan & Lisa got married at Rutterhaus Orr, a beatufiul rustic venue just out of Cologne, Germany. I included quite some photos of their home, because the interior and decoration was incredible. They have such good taste. When brother Thomas and I met Jan and Lisa for the first time in South Africa, we immediately felt connected. Thomas included video of their time in South Africa in their wedding video. At the end of the wedding, we separated as friends, just how we like it.
Aidee & Scott | Intimate Elopement at Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland
Intimate elopement with Aidee and Scott at Eilean Donan Castle and Isle of Skye. Scotland is such a beautiful country.
Sara & Robin | Forest Wedding in Robertson, South Africa
One of my new year resolutions for this year was to share this wedding with you. This might have been one of my all-time favorite weddings, mostly because of the people with whom I got to share this relaxed wedding weekend in South Africa. If you have been to weddings at Pat Busch Mountain Reserve in Robertson, you might never have noticed the little forest in the back of the field. That was only one of the reasons why Sara and Robin got married there. Flower crowns were put together during heavy downpour. Friends and family from all over the world came to help empty the bottles of beers. Our shoes wet with dew and later thrashed with mud. Some didn’t bother wearing any footwear at all. We celebrated life and love under a sky full of stars. Our clothes carried the smell of wood fire after making numerous marsh mellows. Sara’s dog kept an eye out the whole weekend, making sure to keep his distance most of the time. Luckily we caught him off-guard a few times, even during the ceremony.
